SCHOOL BASED SERVICES
Sierra Therapy Professionals specializes in a wide range of school based therapy services including physical, speech and occupational therapy. Our team of highly professional therapists offer individualized treatment plans for each student. We also work closely with teachers, guardians and other support staff to ensure we are providing our students with the most effective therapy strategies to meet student goals. All therapists are New Mexico and Public Education licensed, current with continuing education requirements, background checked and covered by professional liability insurance.
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY
Speech Language Pathologists have completed masters training and are fully licensed and in most cases have certificate of clinical competence through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).  They are also experienced in working with school age populations.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Physical Therapists are fully licensed and trained to work with a variety of physical disorders related to mobility to access education.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational Therapists have completed masters programs and are licensed and endorsed by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).  They are specially training and have experience working with school age populations on a range of skills in the areas of fine motor, visual motor and sensory integration.
TELE-THERAPY PROVIDER
Due to the remote nature of many schools in New Mexico, Sierra Therapy Professionals employs tele-therapy providers to provide best practices services to remote students.  Sierra Therapy Professionals also employs in-person para professional therapy monitors to accompany students to the therapy setting and assists them with technologies.
CLINICAL FELLOWS
Clinical Fellows are SLPs that have completed their masters coursework and passed the national exam, but are completing one additional year of supervised practice as new SLPs. Â They can perform all of the duties a licensed SLP can and have the most up to date training in the profession.
APPRENTICE SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Apprentice Speech Language Pathologists are supervised by licensed SLPs and working toward becoming fully licensed SLPs. Â They provide valuable services to students while they continue their masters education.
